Shenmue I and II Remasters set for 2018 Release

With Shenmue III still now in development Sega has announced that the first two games in the beloved Dreamcast and OG Xbox franchise is coming back - to a PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or PC near you.

The first Shenmue originally launched in 1999 and, at the time of its release, had the distinction of being the most expensive video game ever created.

If that doesn't get you in the mood, SEGA unleashed a brand new announcement trailer that is sure to bring back all the feels.

The Shenmue I & II collection is billed as the "best Shenmue experience to date".

For anyone who missed out on their chance to explore the world of Shenmue, such as myself, this is the flawless opportunity to fix that, especially with Shenmue 3 still in the pipeline.

NFL Draft: 5 teams with the biggest quarterback needs
It would be hard to imagine the Browns passing on him at No. 1, but this organization has produced some head-scratchers before. That pick should be a quarterback, and that quarterback should be Sam Darnold from USC.

Are you like me and are a person who owned the Sega Dreamcast but didn't pick up Shenmue when you had the chance?

Widely considered pioneers of their time, the games feature open-world city exploration, and coined the term Quick Time Event (which I guess is a good claim to fame).

Modern features will include fully scalable screen resolution, modern and classic control schemes, updated user interface, and English/Japanese voiceovers.

The first game in the series, Shenmue begins the tale as Ryo travels around Yokosuka, Japan, gathering clues about his father's murder and dealing with nefarious gangsters along the way.
