In order to celebrate the release, Bandai Namco has revealed a brand new introduction trailer for Siegfried, which you can check out below.
Siegfried is basically the antithesis of Nightmare, and he comes into battle wielding his giant sword, Zweihander. The memory of having killed his own father is haunting him.
Bandai Namco has now announced the newest fighter joining the growing roster of Soulcalibur VI.
HRC Commemorates Holocaust Remembrance Day
While Schneider knows Americans are iffy on the details, he is at least "heartened" that they believe it's important. We need a day to remember, because far too many people have not only forgotten, but maybe never even really knew.
Siegfried has appeared in numerous Souls games, and was a supporting character in Soul Calibur 5. He has featured as the protagonist in some of the games and a background character in other titles. And this outing will be the first Soulcalibur to release on PC. With his attack, Siegfried pops the opponent into the air, then unleashes a powerful slash as elemental energy pumps through his weapon.
A press release from Bandai Namco Entertainment America has some additional details on his background story for the sixth core installment of this franchise.
If you want to see more about SoulCalibur VI, you can check out the reveal of Geralt of Rivia, and a breakdown of his moves, alongside the previous character reveal, including Ivy and Zasalamel. I'm personally looking forward to one of my best friends picking up the game and continuing the fine tradition of cutting me to ribbons with his favorite character.
