Vivo, as Gadgets Now reported yesterday (April 12), has officially launched its Y71 budget range smartphone in India today. The smartphone can be purchased from offline retail stores and will also be available online on the Vivo E-store, flipkart.com, amazon.in and paytmmall.com from April 16, 2018. It has a screen-to-body ratio of 84.4 percent.
The Vivo Y71 is packed with a 3360mAh battery with Vivo Smart Engine which according to Vivo improves the battery performance by providing additional power management for prolonged usage. The smartphone will available in a Gold and a Matte Black colour variant.
The Vivo Y71 sports a 6-inch HD+ "FullView" display with 18:9 aspect ratio and boasts a design using a "high polymer nano-blasting technique".
Under the hood, Vivo Y71 is fitted with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC, which is quite an old chipset and way underpowered compared to Snapdragon 630 that Redmi Note 5 uses at the same price. However, the onboard storage is only 16GB and there is a microSD card slot with up to 256GB storage support. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Vivo Y71 packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
Charlotte Hornets fire coach Steve Clifford after 5 seasons
Clifford came to Charlotte on May 29, 2013, after spending the 2012-13 season as an assistant coach for the Lakers. He acknowledged that the Hornets "didn't make good progress" this year.
This is Dual-SIM supporting phone and runs Android 8.1 Oreo with layer of FunTouch skin on top. The front-facing 5MP camera features an AI-based Beauty feature that can identify the gender, age, skin tone and the texture to auto apply beauty effects. The rear camera also comes with a lighting optimization feature that helps in low light photography. Along with Bluetooth 4.2 and WiFi, the phone comes with GPS/GLONASS support for locations services.
"Vivo has always crafted its products keeping consumers preference at the core".
"With the launch of "Y71", we are releasing a smartphone which is large on display and performance and is coupled with enhanced camera capabilities", Kenny Zheng, CMO, Vivo India, said in a statement.
