A woman was drunk when she drove her large family off a Northern California cliff last month and her wife and several children had large amounts of a drug in their systems that can cause drowsiness, authorities said Friday. The SUV carrying their large family from Washington state accelerated straight off a scenic California cliff and authorities said the deadly wreck may have been intentional. "The Coroner's Division is still awaiting the BA/Toxicology analysis of the third child that was recovered on March 26".

He said in the "interest of transparency and accountability", police should release all video they have of the last week's shooting to the public, or at least to the family.
The SUV pulled onto a gravel turnout during a severe rainstorm, but parked too close to the river on the soft shoulder, and the ground gave way, according to the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office. The crash happened just days after authorities in Washington state opened an investigation following allegations the children were being neglected.
Mendocino County Sheriff Tom Allman on Friday said toxicology results showed Hart's blood alcohol content was 0.102, above the legal driving limit of 0.08.
In California, a person is legally drunk if they have a BAC of.08 or higher.
"Sarah Hart and two of the children had a positive toxicology finding in their blood for Diphenhydramine, an active ingredient in Benadryl", it said.
Carpenter said none of the car's occupants were wearing seatbelts.
Sarah and Jennifer Hart, both 39, and their six adopted children were believed to be in the auto at the time.

But their three other children - Devonte, 15, Hannah, 16, and Sierra, 12 - are missing, officials said. Carpenter said "a lot about this case is unusual ... baffling nearly".
