Arsenal are interested in signing OGC Nice midfield Jean-Michael Seri, but the Ivorian may well prefer a move to the Gunners' Premier League rivals.

London rivals Chelsea are also interested in the midfielder, who is rated at around £40million and almost signed for Barcelona last summer, and are monitoring developments.

Seri is an Ivory Coast worldwide with 18 caps.

Seri was formerly a target for La Liga champions Barcelona.

Arsenal are reportedly holding talks with Jean Michael Seri's representatives in an attempt to bring the Ivorian to the Premier League, and here's how he could become the flawless replacement for supposed want-away Jack Wilshere.

There stays an uncertainty over the managerial positions at each Chelsea and Arsenal which might play a component in any negotiations. The last piece of information has been reported by the Daily Mirror in their latest report. One year down the line, Seri still has a lot of suitors in the transfer market, and it looks very unlikely that he will send another year in Ligue 1.

Both Arsenal and Chelsea are looking for new managers, so we don't expect any deal to culminate in the near future.

Mikel Arteta is the favorite to interchange his former supervisor, although he appears to be like like lacking out on Seri to Chelsea as either side put together for the brand new marketing campaign.
