NY rapper Cardi B just can't win over everyone. When asked about her previous criticism on Cardi, she said: "It's very concerning" to her that "this conversation surrounding black women's culture" has changed.
The 25-year-old rap star has also decided to make her Twitter account private after she became embroiled in an unpleasant row with Azealia, who previously described her in an interview as an "illiterate, untalented rat" and a "caricature of a black woman".
Cardi B, a.k.a. the Queen of clapbacks, came for Azealia Banks recently, after her rap rival called her out.
She said black female culture peaked two years ago with the Beyonce album Lemonade - but since then things have gone "like Cardi B".
"There was just this really, really, really intelligent conversation going on nationally and then everything just kind of changed and then it was like Cardi B".
Now of course, Cardi had something to say about this.
Cardi also commented on a post including the video of Azealia saying "I'm not apologizing or killing myself because of who I am".
South Korea re-examining arrival of North Korean restaurant workers
During the recent summit, South Korean President Moon Jae-in gave Kim Jong-un a USB drive with specific details of a proposal. But she warned that the next few weeks will be critical, "requiring airtight coordination between" the two countries.
One of those detractors is rapper and self-appointed hip-hop Thanos: Azealia Banks. I speak how I speak I am how I am. I am how I am. I did not choose to be famous people choose me!
Cardi responded in a post of her own, calling Azealia a hypocrite and "insecure" just before deleting her Instagram entirely.
"You're illiterate, you're baby mama 4/5 to [a] man who has women crawling out of the woodworks with kids", Azealia said.
Heading into the weekend, Cardi let loose on Azealia for getting checked in a media interview. Do you think she'll be back soon? "You and whoever wrote this reply for you don't have the intelligence to engage in this not-so-complex discussion". She called out rapper and radio host Nya Lee for being 'shady, ' and these two got into a fight that is 100 percent nasty.
Along with criticizing Cardi's spelling and way of speaking, Banks continued, "I just don't understand the extreme lack of couth". And because I laugh a little harder or talk a little louder doesn't make me a caricature!
She concluded: "I hope you find your peace in your own heart and reason in your own mind".
"This sh*t getting real bad everyday on social media all you see is U.S. calling each other FAT, UGLY, BIG NOSE, DUMB, HOES, BLACK (as if that's an insult)".
