The Browns have accepted the chance after turning it down several times previously, said the person who spoke on condition of anonymity because the official announcement has not been made.

The 12th season of HBO's ballyhooed behind-the-scenes look at an National Football League team will feature the Cleveland Browns, according to multiple reports Thursday morning. The series takes a behind-the-scenes look at training camp.

And so fresh off a historic, dismal 0-16 season, the team has agreed to appear on HBO's popular "Hard Knocks" series, a person familiar with the decision told the Associated Press.

In addition, head coach Hue Jackson has appeared on the series before when he was with Cincinnati, and is normally good for a sound-byte or two.

The Browns brought in former Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor, former 49ers running back Carlos Hyde and traded for Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry.
