EPL: Salah wins Golden Boot ahead of Kane

Mohamed Salah has won the Player of the Season award, the English Premier League announced here on Sunday.

Badou Ndiaye and Peter Crouch scored the goals for Stoke, who will join the Swans in the Championship next season.

There is no doubting that he is one of the best strikers in the world, and that tally only reinforces that fact.

Salah has now scored 44 goals in 51 appearances in all competitions for Liverpool this season.

"Now we are in the Champions League next season and I won the award too, so (I'm) very proud", said Salah on being awarded the Golden Boot prize for the Premier League's top scorer.

Adding the Premier League Golden Boot to his ever-growing trophy cabinet was a special moment.

Kane said: "It's nice to hit the 30-goal mark, for me that was always the target to improve on last year's 29".

Vodacom adds 4.5 million more customers
The combined M-Pesa customer base, including Safaricom, grew 11.5% in the past year and now exceeds 32.3 million. The addition of the Kenyan company helped Vodacom increase net profit by almost 19 percent to R15.6-billion.

"I'm happy for him and of course he gets the Golden Boot award - cool". It's a massive one, but now I am really looking forward to it. But this is what you want at the highest level - you want to be fighting for things and I think we pushed each other.

"Mo has done incredible and he looks like a great player".

"The decision to hold the final at a location which is so hard and so extraordinarily expensive to get to is one that needs explaining by those who made it". Instead, Klopp's side dominated from start to finish, with only their profligacy in front of goal preventing them from winning by a greater margin.

"For me it is about doing it year after year".

The 24-year-old midfielder's future has been a relentless source of speculation in recent weeks and months due to the fact that his current contract at Anfield is set to expire at the end of the season.

While that would have meant that Liverpool had to navigate to qualifiers last season, UEFA's changes to the competition mean that the Reds are automatically in the group stage along with Spurs an the two Manchester clubs next year. "To get in the Champions League was very important in the new stadium".

Aston Villa will host Middlesborough Tuesday (2:45 p.m. EDT), and the two winners will play at Wembley May 26 (12 p.m. EDT) for promotion to the Premier League.
