Meanwhile, Veere Di Wedding stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania. Harshvardhan Kapoor's will get a better number of shows and June 1st as a date has a greater audience potential.
Along with Veere Di Wedding and Bhavesh Joshi, the third film to be released on 1 June is Phamous.
A source claims, "The makers believe 1st June is a better date from a distributional point of view".

The film Bhavesh Joshi Superhero tells the tale of Harshvardhan emerging as the new superhero in town after incidents turn the life of a group of residents upside down.
Explaining the reason behind the change, the makers said in a statement, "It has a greater audience potential and is a safe distance away from holdover Hindi and English releases".
Producers of the film, Eros Now, tweeted, "Our film #BhaveshJoshiSuperhero will now be releasing on 1st June!" Bhavesh Joshi Superhero will see Harshvardhan as a student-turned-vigilante who is willed in his crusade against crime. "But releasing it in the week of Veere Di Wedding is also a bad idea", Thadani said.
The clash could mean a lot of damage in terms of distribution and box office collection for both parties.
