In ICSE, southern region has fared the best with passing percentage of 99.69, followed by western region with 99.67. From a total of 143 students with learning disabilities, 13 have scored above 90 per cent. Commenting on Arts students scoring higher as compared to other streams, Rita Katawati, principal of Hutchings, said, "There are many highscorers these days who are opting for Arts". Aniket Tendulkar topped the school with 98.8 per cent, followed closely by Nandini Agarwal with 98.6 per cent and Sherlene Pradhan with 98 per cent. Anurag Tendulkar had the fourth position with 97.8 per cent while Vedanshi Shah ranked fifth with 97.4 per cent. Vidya Pratishthan's Magarpatta City Public School secured a 100 per cent result in Class X, with Rajani Utpat securing 99.2 per cent, placing her first in the school and second across the country.
In the ISC examination, seven students with an aggregate of 99.50% topped the country.
The first rank in ICSE is secured by Swayam Das of St Mary's ICSE School, Koparkhairane, Navi Mumbai who scored 99.40 per cent. Kshipra scored 98% to top the charts among the students of all four schools which saw results of ICSE class X on Monday. While a parent said, "We have supported our children as the curriculum is tough and includes a serie of tests". "I even used to take break and log on to social media", said Abhishek, whose phone kept ringing while he shared his success formula. Another Mumbai student, Priya Khajanchi from Lilavatibai Podar school, topped the commerce stream with 99.25 per cent.
Rajat said, "I was anticipating a good score as I had put in a lot of hard work throughout the year".

"I was more anxious about this result than I have ever been", a relieved Abhijnan told mid-day, "There were many people who believed in me and I did not want to let them down". "I did it all on my own through a target-based study method", she said.
Her mother Rama Utpat, a homemaker said, "I am so happy with the score that she received. I feel that self-studying is one of the best ways to achieve success", she said. She plans to pursue CA course alongside BCom. "I was determined to do well and stuck to my resolve".
