Having had his contract terminated by UAE second division side Al-Fujairah, it was quickly reported - and then denied - that El Diego had been reinstated days later.

Maradona was linked initially with a return to the Fujairah hot-seat in a frenzied few days following his departure, but has now made the unlikely move to board level at Brest.

The legendary Argentinean football player Diego Maradona will work at FC Dynamo Brest, BelTA has learnt from the press service of the football club.

"Yes, Diego is with us!"

"I signed the contract and I AM the president of the club Dinamo Brest", he wrote on Instagram.

Special Honor Planned This Fall For Thurman Thomas
The Buffalo Bills will be retiring their third jersey number in franchise history this season, and frankly it seems long overdue. The 40th overall pick of the 1988 draft out of Oklahoma State, Thomas became an integral part of the Bills' offense immediately.

"Thanks for the trust".

The job begins after the summer's World Cup in Russian Federation, wpolityce.pl said.

Maradona will supervise strategic development and cooperate with all structural departments, including the Academy of Dynamo Brest, according to a statement on the club's website.

His first game will be big one, too, as Dinamo are set to face giants BATE in the Belarusian Cup final this weekend. He had previously managed Al Wasl, but was dismissed in July 2012, midway through a two-year contract.
