Under the hood, the Surface Hub 2 runs Microsoft 365, an enterprise software suite consisting of Windows 10, Office 365, Enterprise Mobility Security, Microsoft Teams (Microsoft's Slack-like group chat app), and Microsoft Whiteboard. With the new Surface Hub, Microsoft plans to redefine the boring conference room meetings.

Unveiled today in a blog post from Microsoft's Chief Product Officer and Surface co-creator Panos Panay, the Surface Hub 2 is designed for offices that want to have a real-time collaborative workplace where remote workers and in-office workers can collaborate in real time as if they were together.

This week, Microsoft has begun more openly talking about the new hardware and we finally have our first look at the new device.

Interestingly, the Surface Hub 2 has a hinge system which allows it to be rotated between landscape and portrait mode, and can be mounted on a wall or used with a rolling stand to make it more accessible. It has 4K cameras that rotate with the device, integrated speakers and far field mic arrays as well as the standard Surface 3×2 aspect ratio. While we are having a video call with someone, we do not have to shrink their face, but instead, use the full capacity of the Surface Hub 2.

Neuer makes Germany's initial World Cup squad; Petersen, too
Loew opted for Petersen over Bayern Munich forward Sandro Wagner. "In doing that, our players have certainly not helped the DFB's work on integration".

Microsoft has announced the Surface Hub 2, a brand new interactive whiteboard aimed at helping professionals to work creatively and collaboratively. You can put up to four Surface Hub 2 devices side-by-side - in either portrait or landscape orientation - and they'll all work together as one massive screen.

Microsoft Surface Hub 2 features a sleeker design and is more affordable to fit any workspace or work style.

We haven't got any concrete specs beyond the Microsoft Surface Hub 2's display size, but we'll update this page as soon as we know more.

Microsoft isn't sharing pricing and exact availability details for the new Surface Hub 2 just yet. The company hasn't shared any specifications or price, but it won't be available before 2019 - selected customers will test the Surface Hub 2 starting this year. By announcing it almost a year early, Microsoft is possibly aiming to outpace its competition and rope in a few businesses who typically order such devices in advance.
