OnePlus OxygenOS Open Beta update out for OnePlus 5 and 5T

OnePlus OxygenOS Open Beta update out for OnePlus 5 and 5T

Google has already announced that the OnePlus 6 will support Android P beta version ahead of the full public release.

The company issues a notice that as it is a beta update, there could be issues with the same. The latest open beta update for OnePlus 5 and 5T is meant to further improve two important apps that come pre-installed on these phones: Launcher and Switch.

This new update brings May security patch to both devices. In this beta update, OnePlus has added three new features to the OnePlus launcher app. While OnePlus 6 release is just around the corner, the company is still zealous in providing latest update and support for older flagships like OnePlus 5 and 5T. In addition to the above-mentioned features, the update also brings bug fixes and improvements in stability of the device. Switch makes it easy to transfer your data from your current device to your new OnePlus device.

Battlefield V Reveal Coming Next Week
Well, nothing can be confirmed as we do not know much about the game, just as many other media around the world. With the official announcement comes only a single piece of information - the date of a "Live Reveal".

This shouldn't be news anymore but for those who don't know, the OnePlus phones sold in China run a different Android-based OS called HydrogenOS.

One of the major changes with the update is the introduction of an optimized user interface for the OnePlus switch application. It is also adding a new Hidden Space in the app drawer and is also giving users the ability to edit dynamic icons like weather, clock and calendar.

However, the open beta software update is not being rolled out over the air and the Chinese smartphone maker has posted all the instructions to be followed for flashing the device on the download page.
