This game will take place on the Musketeers' home court at Cintas Center in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 13.

The Nittany Lions will head to Chicago to take on DePaul on Thursday, Nov. 15 as part of the Gavitt Tipoff Games, which will take place on four consecutive days starting on Nov. 13.

CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein reported the teams will play in Philadelphia in the event featuring non-league games between teams from the Big East and Big Ten.

While it is a rematch of the national championship game, which Villanova won, 79-62, to claim its second national title in three years, the two programs will look vastly different.

Among the 16 participating schools, six played in the NCAA Tournament past year and three played in the NIT. However, the Big Ten has a similar problem with the exclusions of schools such as Michigan State and Maryland, both of whom should be top-25 teams.

The 2018 game will be the first home contest for Nebraska in the series.

Nebraska will host the Pirates on Wednesday, Nov. 14, at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

The matchups for the 2018 Gavitt Games were announced on May 14.

The unique series between the two conferences was named to honor the late Dave Gavitt, the founder of the Big East Conference and basketball visionary.
