None of the dogs weighed more than 40 pounds and taller than knee high.

News outlet KTEN reported 52-year-old Tracy Garcia was standing outside her Carter County, Okla., home last Thursday when she was mauled by her neighbour's seven dogs.

When cops arrived at the grisly scene, they say they were forced to shoot one of the animals dead after it charged at them, KXII reports. He also revealed that initial reports stating that a pit bull took part in the attack were inaccurate.

Officials said six of the dogs were believed to be standard dachshund and terrier mix.

Dinwiddie told KXII-TV the dogs were infested with fleas and ticks, but didn't appear to have any other health issues. "They all ranged from probably a year to about three years (old)".

However, a few cities in Japan and South Korea - for example, Nagasaki and Busan - have experienced population decline since 2000. Also, two other factors - Economic contraction and natural disasters -have triggered population losses in some cities.

Vets at the animal shelter where they were euthanised described the animals as "very short-legged dogs".

"This is a bad situation, a very unfortunate situation", Carter County Sheriff Chris Bryant said, according to KTEN. Her obituary said her husband died in 2006 and that she was survived by a son and daughter. "This is just a bad deal all the way around".

Ardmore Animal Shelter's euthanasia technician Amanda Dinwiddie told local media: "A predominant breed in these dogs is definitely standard dachshund".

"We were cleaning ticks off ourselves all day", she said. The district attorney will review the case to determine if the dogs owner will face charges. The dogs belonged to her neighbor, according to KXII in Oklahoma.
