Microsoft Shows off New Metro Exodus Footage at E3 2018; Releases February 22

Okay, ever since this made its debut on the Xbox stage a year ago we've been waiting patiently to see more of Metro Exodus - 4A Games' post-apocalyptic shooter.

The game was officially unveiled during Microsoft's E3 conference a year ago, and now a gameplay trailer was released. That's right, it's out on 22nd February 2019, just like every single other game under the sun. Then check out the exciting new trailer below.

"4A are extremely proud to be showing 4K gameplay of one of our vast open levels exclusively on the world's biggest videogames stage", said Andriy Prokhorov, Creative Director and co-founder at 4A Games.

4A Games hit their stride with the Metro games, with millions of gamers waiting for the third entry in the franchise with Metro Exodus, which had a gameplay trailer debut during E3 2018.

In Metro Exodus, you'll explore vast open levels as you journey across post-apocalyptic Russian Federation.

The game, which is based on the novels by Dmitry Glukhovsky, will follow the events of Metro: Last Light.

As revealed in the new trailer, Metro Exodus's release date is set for February 22, 2019.
