After a weekend spent vying for peace, U.S. President Donald Trump is punching back against actor Robert De Niro, calling him a "low IQ individual".

De Niro has also made recent TV appearances on Saturday Night Live as none other than Robert Mueller, the special counsel overseeing the Russian Federation probe the President has repeatedly decried as a "witch hunt". For comparison, earlier in the day Trump called North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un as "very talented, very smart".
