E3 2018: Death Stranding Trailer Mixes Gameplay With Weird Cut-scenes

Hideo Kojima's first major project since his departure from Konami has been teased with freaky cinematic trailers for over a year, but now players can finally have a look at what Death Stranding really has in store for them.

"Death Stranding" is the highly anticipated sci-fi game from Hideo Kojima, the creator behind the "Metal Gear" series.

We were finally treated to actual gameplay. "Two goddesses, Lindsay Wagner and Léa Seydoux", Kojima wrote. I've seen many of her films, but the film that made me a fan was Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol. Things take a dark and even more unsafe turn from there. "Her intelligence and knowledge, her elegance and beauty, she is without a doubt a true French treasure". The Death Stranding E3 2018 trailer just hit the showfloor and there are few words that can describe this. Of course, some team members are too young to have seen her films or shows when they originally aired, but when I showed them Two People, The Paper Chase, The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman for reference, the whole office fell in love.

No one expected Death Stranding to start making any sense now - to be honest holding out for that even after release is starting to look a little optimistic - but at least we've seen something that looks like gameplay now.

This trailer was the most in-depth look at Death Stranding that we've had so far, and featured Sam moving through an open area with a baby strapped to his body seemingly powering a device that could detect the enemy threats, which are so far unnamed.
