TMZ: ‘The Goldbergs’ actor Jackson Odell dead at 20

Actor Jackson Odell, 20, was found unresponsive at a home in Tarzana, California on Friday, the LA County Medical Examiner's Office said.

No cause of death has yet been revealed, and an autopsy is pending.

His family released a statement which reads: "The Odell family has lost our beloved son and brother, Jackson Odell. Our family will always carry that truth forward".

In addition to his role as Ari in Seasons 1 and 2 of "The Goldbergs", Odell had credits on "The Fosters", "Modern Family", and "iCarly". "We are now going to try to make sense of our immeasurable loss privately".

TMZ reports there was no sign of foul play. His career began at the age of 12, when he broke into the business with an appearance on ABC's Private Practice.

In addition to his successful guest roles on hit TV series, Odell was also a successful singer and songwriter.

He was known for sharing videos of himself singing covers of popular artists' songs on YouTube over the years.
