Super Mario Party Is the Ultimate Party Game for Nintendo Switch

Some, but not all, of Super Mario Party's mini-games take advantage of this feature.

During Nintendo's E3 presentation, the company started with big names like Pokemon and Xenoblade before pivoting to the party classic that everyone's been playing for years. Nintendo, as usual, had a pre-recorded video instead of a live event at E3 2018. This game is meant to be played with friends.

Lucky us, we already knew about another new Switch sequel, the cooking co-op game Overcooked 2, but not just because of the same Switch games leak.

Great in concept, and with space for third party announcements between, it's hard to say that Sony managed to pull it off. The game definitely screams Sucker Punch with its smooth, seamless gameplay.

From what we saw there was a tricycle racing game, an athletics game, a puzzle solving one, and much more.

Nintendo gave players a closer look at "Super Smash Bros.: Ultimate" for the Switch on Tuesday. It's the first Mario Party console game since Mario Party 10 debuted on the Wii U in 2015. The game releases on October 5, 2018.

Some characters, like Cloud and R.O.B, will have gauges visible on screen to improve strategic play, while others, like Ike have multiple voice options.
