Celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain left his $1.2 million (AU$1.6m) estate to his 11-year-old daughter, Ariane, according to reports.

Additionally, he had $35,000 in brokerage funds, $250,000 in personal property and another $500,000 in "intangible property including royalties and residuals".

According to the Daily News, the court will appoint someone to "safeguard" the inheritance as long as Ariane is a minor.

The celebrity chef's NY condo, which was reported to be worth $3.35 million when he bought it in 2014, was not included in the will, but the filings indicate a $1 million mortgage liability for an unspecified property. Bourdain was dating Italian actress Asia Argento at the time of his death.

Ottavia Busia-Bourdain broke her silence following his death with a sentimental post to Instagram of their daughter, who had her first concert with her band, Newsday noted.

Niantic didn't give an exact release date for Celebi, but we'll be keeping an eye out for more specifics going forward. Players with a Gold Pikachu Fan medal will be eligible to buy a Pikachu T-shirt or even Pikachu ears for their avatar.

Bourdain committed suicide June 8 while in France working on a Parts Unknown segment.

Bourdain's will also stipulated that Busia should receive his "personal and household effects" - including, as was specifically named, his frequent-flyer miles - "to dispose of in accordance with what (she) believes to have been my wishes". He left similar instructions for other things, such as his auto, clothing and books.

Ariane, his only child, will inherit the remainder of his assets. Had his daughter died before he did the money would have gone to her nanny, Myra Quizon, the will says.

Bourdain told The New Yorker in 2017 that his idea for Parts Unknown, which was then in its 11th season, was travelling, eating and doing whatever he wanted.
