Fortnite's newest limited time mode, Playground, will leave the game on Thursday, July 12, developer Epic Games has announced. Some of the craziest structures ever built were constructed in Playground Mode, as players spent hours just experimenting with new methods.
On Fortnite's Reddit, the game's developers state that they will be shutting down Playground Mode next week to make updates."We appreciate all of the awesome feedback we've received and are beginning work on the next version of Playground", they wrote. This is all in line with the game's latest update, 4.5, which brought a good ol'fashioned Tommy Gun to play, flawless for writing your name in the wall, or so old gangster films have taught me.
"1v1s and 2v2s, Aim assist for controllers, Editing other player's structures, Traps affecting teammates/enemies correctly, Highlighting teammates on the map, Damaging enemies with your pickaxe". "And remember, you will have until the release of v5.0 to access your Playground LTM replays".
The 5G iPhone might be the final blow for Intel’s mobile chips
Now reportedly Intel has killed off production of its Radio Chips "Sunny Peak following Apple dropping Intel as its supplier". By 2020 - the year most tech analysts expect a 5G iPhone - Intel might not have modems in any iPhones.
The mode also features respawns, increased resources and a ten minute time limit making it extremely different from any other mode in the game. We now know when it'll be going away, and what it'll be like next time it pops up in game. They HAVE to keep it. Plz Epic.
On the plus side, Epic Games has said that it has heard fans' pleas for the Playground mode to become a permanent game type.
