The 2,477 square-foot home, built in 1959, features two bedrooms and three bathrooms.
The house, which is located along the Los Angeles River near the Colfax Meadows neighborhood, is listed at $1.885 million.
After more than 50 years, the home featured on the Brady Bunch sitcom is up for the sale for the price of $1.89 million.
The inside of the home has been updated but still has touches that match the 1970s facade.
Houston, Phoenix among future Final Four sites
The strong community effort bore fruit when the NCAA awarded San Antonio the 2018 Final Four in November 2014. Phoenix (2024), San Antonio (2025), and Indianapolis (2026) have also been named host cities.
The Los Angeles Times reported Violet and George McCallister purchased the home in 1973 for $61,000.
However, Carswell said, the couple's children, who are selling the house, are giving preference to buyers who intend to preserve the iconic home as it is.
Carswell said they hope to avoid razing the property. The home was featured in the opening and closing scenes of the show that ran from September 1969 to March 1974. The Brady's house stands out from the homes in the area.
Due to the icon nature of the house, Carswell said they won't just jump on the first big offer - especially if it is from a developer who wants to tear it down and rebuild on the 12,500-foot lot. "We're going to wait a few days, in case there are others who want to purchase it as an investment to preserve it".
