The 26-year-old, who has agreed a three-year deal with the Hammers, became Pellegrini's fourth summer signing following the arrivals of Issa Diop, Lukasz Fabianski and Ryan Fredericks.

West Ham director of football Mario Husillos said both he and manager Pellegrini were eager to complete a deal for the midfielder.

Wilshere said there were various factors that influenced him to join the club.

"Jack is a player with vast experience and quality at the highest level, having played all of his career in the Premier League".

He played one season for the Rockets and was an important piece in the Rockets' defensive resurgence. Now that the 2018 playoffs are a thing of the past, Paul is thinking ahead to next season.

Born in Hertfordshire, Wilshere grew up in a family of Irons supporters.

It was confirmed last month that Wilshere would be leaving Arsenal, having spent his entire career there to date, after discussions with new manager Unai Emery.

Antonio was restricted to 21 appearances in a stop-start season last time out, and United will consider offers upwards of £15m.

There were talks of him going to Turkey but Wilshere has chose to stay in the Premier League and sign a three year contract.
