Fourth of July celebrations started early Tuesday night in the Fox Valley.
- There will be pockets of red, white and blue throughout the Tampa Bay area this week, from fireworks displays to other events in celebration of Independence Day.
Do not take your pet to fireworks displays.
The fireworks show will begin at dark, but beforehand, local food vendors, inflatables, a rock wall and more will be a part of the fun.
In general, lighting fireworks is illegal in Alabama's incorporated towns and cities; fireworks are legal in most unincorporated areas.
Cloverdale and Rohnert Park have since shortened their fireworks seasons, but these half-steps don't eliminate the threat posed by fireworks, even the state-approved "safe and sane" fireworks that don't explode or fly into the air. Legal consumer fireworks are less explosive than the type used by companies that have permits to conduct fireworks shows, but they're still unsafe. There will be music from the Schenectady County Orchestra and members of the Empire State Youth Orchestra CHIME program starting at 7 pm.
July 4th Extravaganza: The event kicks off with the "Hill Country's most Famous Parade", and features BBQ, games, and live music. They will be open until 5 p.m. July 4th, adopting animals for $35.

There is a dance contest that begins at 8:30 p.m. Fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m. Admission is $5 for ages 13 and up. This year's theme is "Celebrate America".

"Exceptional Fireworks Show" at SeaWorld: SeaWorld says that its "jaw-dropping" fireworks display combines pyrotechnics and a triumphant musical score. Fireworks begin at 10:25 p.m.at the Fort Hall Rodeo Grounds.
Temperatures are expected to climb into the 80s every day and to reach as high as 91 degrees Wednesday, July 4.
West Los Angeles College will have food trucks, picnicking, live music and games before the 4th annual fireworks show. The big fireworks display starts around 9:15 pm. Most events are free to attend, and there are plenty of family-friendly activities to choose from.
"For visitors to the Independence Day celebration, or just people coming to see the fireworks, they'll notice very little change despite this transition", said Patricia Tyndall, marketing and events coordinator for the Recreation and Parks.
