It was being speculated that if the wedding with beau Nick Jonas is not the reason then Priyanka Chopra opted out of Salman Khan's Bharat and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kothewali, it must be Pratt's film.

Cowboy Ninja Viking is set to be another big franchise for star Chris Pratt. According to various sources, Priyanka is likely to essay Chris's love interest in the film.

No explanation was provided for the shake-up, though the studio noted that the film remains in active development, with plans to reschedule production and slot a new release date at a later time.

Doug Ford says the PCs have scrapped the Liberal legislation making the minimum price for a bottle or can $1.25. What it will mean is that the government will offer "non-financial incentives" to brewers who sell beer for $1.

When the film might score another release date remains to be seen, but Universal certainly seems to think it'll still get made; just not yet. MacLaren is getting her feature directing assignment on a huge project, this after directing episodes of Game of Thrones, Westworld, The Walking Dead and Better Call Saul. Craig Mazin wrote an earlier draft of the screenplay with an original version by "Deadpool" writers Paul Wernick and Everett David Reese.

Universal was filling out the supporting cast when the studio opted to halt production. Pratt will produce with Guymon Casady, Ben Forkner, Michael De Luca, Mark Gordon and Sara Scott. But turns out that will have to wait because the movie has been delayed indefinitely. Cowboy Ninja Viking's story centres around a lethal agent, played by Pratt, whose treatment by a psychotherapist leaves him with "an ability to manifest the deadliest attributes of the three titular personas".

"Initially Riley [Rossmo] wanted to do something with a Dystopian near-future setting, "Lieberman said of writing the Cowboy Ninja Viking comics".
