Dead fetus found on airplane at LaGuardia Airport today

- A dead fetus was found in the bathroom of an American Airlines plane that landed at LaGuardia Airport Monday night, according to the airline.

An under-developed fetus was discovered on an American Airlines flight at LaGuardia Airport.

American Airlines Flight 1942 departed from Charlotte Douglas International Airport at 9:08 p.m. Monday and arrived in Queens about 90 minutes later, according to records on FlightAware.com.

A cleaning crew found the fetus in the bathroom of the plane, which had landed in NY on Monday night from Charlotte, North Carolina, according to a high-ranking police source. Sources told NBC New York that the fetus appears to have been 5 to 6 months old.
