Nokia 6.1 Plus with notched display launched in India: Price, specifications, features

HMD Global unveiled its first iPhone X-inspired Nokia handset with a notch back in May, deciding to expand the X6 from its initial China exclusivity by popular demand. This is the global variant of the Nokia X6 which was launched in China in May 2018. Nokia 6.1 Plus (4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage in India) will be priced at a cool Rs 15999 and will be available to buy starting August 30 exclusively on Flipkart. It will go on sale in India in September, the company added, saying that it will be made available via Flipkart and the Nokia online store. As of now, the pre-orders for the phone has started.

Out of the two, Nokia 6.1 Plus has slightly better specifications and features. Paytm Mall is offering the Mobile Protection Plan at Rs 1199, compared to their original price of Rs.

While the Nokia 6.1 Plus is all set to make its debut on the Indian shores on August 21, the Nokia 6.1, which was launched in April this year, has received a price cut. The display of the phone is full HD+ display and it is protected with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The notched screen of the Nokia 5.1 Plus is 5.86” in diagonal with HD+ resolution. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC.

Eid al-Adha 2018: When is Bakra Eid? Importance and its significance
One response to being wished Eid Mubarak is to say "Kahir Mubarak" which in turn wishes well on the person who greeted you. The exact date of Eid al-Adha is determined by the sighting of the moon, as the Islamic calendar follows the lunar cycle.

The two devices have "secure and up-to-date" Android Oreo software in common, courtesy of Google's Android One program, as well as AI camera enhancements, although the 6.1 Plus features a superior 16MP primary rear-facing shooter. I didn't notice any lag in the week I used the phone, and the robust chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM is the sweet spot in this category. That's impressively affordable, and it includes a generous 64 gigs of internal storage space. The Nokia 6.1 Plus is also expected to have 64GB of inbuilt storage and expandable up to 400GB via a microSD card.

Nokia 6.1 Plus has 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel rear cameras. The selfie camera is 8MP but has an 80-degree field of view to get all your friends and surroundings in the picture.

The phone comes with a strong battery back-up as it derives power from 3,060 mAh battery that also supports Quick Charge 3.0 through its USB Type-C port.
