In his continuing efforts to discredit Omarosa Manigault-Newman before her book is published on Tuesday, Donald Trump claims "The Apprentice" producer Mark Burnett has assured him there is no tape of him using the n-word.

Manigault Newman worked with Trump on his reality television show, "The Apprentice". She held the positions of assistant to the president and director of communications for the office of public liaison.

She was sacked in December.

Omarosa told CBS that she found it "ironic" that such high-level campaign and White House staffers were reacting in such a manner. She was vicious, but not smart.

"Oh, I have plenty", she replied. "Nasty to people & would constantly miss meetings & work".

"I don't have that word in my vocabulary, and never have", Trump insisted in tonight's tweets. He said Manigault Newman had called him "a true Champion of Civil Rights" until she was sacked.

On Monday, the former Apprentice contestant released what she claimed is a recording to a phone call between herself and the President the day after she was sacked from government. "That has been my experience", she said. I know, because I have litigated more pre-publication-review classification challenges against the government during the past 25 years than any other attorney.

She denied that she was sacked.

Rupee Reverses Day's Losses To Close Above 70 Per Dollar: 10 Points
A selloff in Turkey's lira spread to other emerging market currencies, with the rupee losing the most since September 2013. Analysts said the falling rupee could lead to higher inflation as Indians pay more for imported goods and services.

Not only is this flat-out false (I've never heard such a thing), but Omarosa didn't even make an effort to call or email me to verify.

Omarosa then chose to play producer and end the interview, saying, "You know that we have an interview right after this". Yes, she's a liar and a backstabber with no credibility - exactly like everyone else in the Trump administration. For example, Trump's former personal aide John McEntee, who was removed from his job in April, went to the campaign. She said "he tried in his own way" to bring Americans together.

Pierson on Fox News also made a broader attack against Manigault Newman, saying her one-time friend is in a "very desperate situation".

Manigault Newman's tell-all book, "Unhinged", hits bookstores on Tuesday.

Ms Manigault-Newman rose to fame as a contestant on reality TV show "The Apprentice" in 2004. They can't report on it and roll their eyes at the same time. Clinton's next book, "Stronger Together", was an even harder flop, only selling about 2,900 copies in its first week, NYT reported. Though no one on the call claimed to have heard the tape at the time (Manigault Newman has subsequently claimed to have heard it), Pierson says at one point in the call: "He said it".

Trump tweeted that he had received a call from the producer of "The Apprentice" assuring him "there are NO TAPES of the Apprentice where I used such a awful and disgusting word as attributed by Wacky and Deranged Omarosa". She claims first lady Melania has often taken subtle swipes at her husband through the clothes she wears.

She lasted shy of one year, getting escorted off White House grounds in December 2017. "It's absurd all around". But the tapes' mere existence confirmed a longstanding reality: in Trump's White House, there are few norms or expectations of decorum that can not be shattered. "I also never heard Omarosa complain that he had done that, and so the only thing that's changed is that she's now selling books", Conway said. But Manigault-Newman says she was offered a salary for a "job" that required no work-only her signature on an NDA.

What is the legal action?
