The invite is to an event on October 11th, with the event to be live streamed as usual on the Samsung YouTube account and their samsung.com/galaxy site as well. The invitations are pretty sparse on detail. Nonetheless, the upcoming phone is supposed to offer "more ways to express yourself than ever before".
So maybe Samsung's mysterious invite is referring to a plethora of cameras, or maybe not.
Samsung has scheduled an event in Malaysia on October 11, where the company is expected to launch a new smartphone under its Galaxy lineup.
Apple ups the screen size with iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max
During our time in the hands-on area at the Apple launch event, the processing certainly appeared to live up to that billing. Camera-wise, the iPhone Xr packs a single-lens rear camera - the same wide-angle camera that is installed on the iPhone Xs.
They followed up earlier today by retweeting another tweet saying there will be four-camera phones later this year, originally tweeted in July, with the addition of "Now, do you know?". So Samsung's next phone - presumably called the Galaxy S10 - may well have four camera lenses on the back of it.
Samsung could be hinting at either 4x zoom or 4 cameras here. I don't know, the number of colours that the Galaxy S10 is available in.
Samsung just sent out invites for an event for next month during which we're likely to hear about a brand new Galaxy device of some sort. According to the latest report, the premium variant of the handset will be equipped with the five camera setup.
