The goal seemed to give United belief they could go on and win the game while simultaneously rattling Chelsea's confidence -although David Luiz missed a great chance to head Chelsea back in front.
Sarri's Chelsea host Mourinho and United at Stamford Bridge on Saturday aiming to maintain an unbeaten start to the Premier League season that means they sit behind leaders Manchester City only on goal difference.
Both managers claimed afterwards that their teams had controlled the game, with Mourinho describing the draw as an "awful result" for him and his players.

Sarri said: "We need to expect everything because we have to play against a very strong team, and usually a very strong team play very well in important matches". Mourinho's side attacked properly in the second half and reaped their rewards.
"I think I will try always to control myself and to respect the stadium and supporters that were my supporters and my stadium for many years".
