LG says pricing and availability for the V40 ThinQ will be announced "soon".

"LG V40 ThinQ is equipped with the cameras that customers need", Hwang Jeong-hwan, Vice President, LG Electronics, said in a statement, adding that they will be able to produce new, high-quality content with various functions of the cameras.

There's no confirmed United Kingdom release date just yet but it's likely that LG will be bringing its photo-obsessed flagship to our shores within the next few months.

The V40 ThinQ flagship smartphone has the largest display among all LG V-series phones.

The giga-bit class LG V40 ThinQ is the 18th 600MHz capable phone to be released on T-Mobile.

The company LG has officially unveiled this year's second flagship smartphone called the V40 ThinQ. The standout feature of this device will be the five cameras, there are triple cameras on the rear and dual cameras on the front. It has a resolution of 3120 x 1440 px, a 19:5:9 aspect ratio and a pixel density of 537 ppi.

Under the hood of the LG V40 is the high-end hardware we expected. The storage is expandable upto 2TB via microSD card.

The LG V40 ThinQ is powered by a 3,300mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 and wireless charging support.

The V40 ThinQ is also created to withstand dust and water according to IP68 standards as well as MIL-ST-810G certification. The LG V40 is also tuned by Meridian.

Rear camera: It comes with a triple rear camera setup-a 16MP super wide-angle lens, a 12MP primary lens and a 12MP telephoto lens. Top it all off, Google and OnePlus are scheduled to reveal their new flagship smartphones this month and this makes it almost impossible for other companies to step in and steal some of the spotlight for them.

Finally there's Bokeh effect on both the front and back cameras with the ability to adjust the background blur after you've taken the image. The 107-degree super wide-angle lens allows you to fit more details or subjects easily while the telephoto with 2x optical zoom that LG claims can take clear shots from a distance without losing image quality. The main camera is a 12MP sensor with f/1.5 lens, and OIS.

The core modules work with the embedded artificial intelligence, and also have the support of Google Lens. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box along with LG UX 7.0+ UI running on top. The software experience between these devices will therefore be similar. It is also upgradable to Android 9.0 (Pie).

LG V40 ThinQ will be available at $899.99 in Aurora Black, Moroccan Blue, Platinum Gray, and Carmine Red color variants.

The design of the V40 ThinQ is something that LG is proud of, with the company touting its "Silky Blast" process.

To the extent the accessibility is anxious, in the USA, the Smartphone will be ranging between $900 to $980 contingent upon the transporter beginning October 18.
