Purdue rocks #2 Ohio State with stunning upset win in Big 10 football

No. 2 Ohio State kicks off against unranked Purdue at 7:30 Saturday night for the first time since 2013.

Purdue (4-3, 3-1 Big Ten) is a team on a bit of a roll with four straight wins. That's almost a full eight points more than it was scoring per game last season, and this week Purdue will face an Ohio State defense that has shown a few cracks.

Mistake-prone Ohio State (7-1, 4-1) had its 12-game winning streak snapped, fell out of the Big Ten East lead behind rival MI and must fight away its way back into playoff position. And defensively it was susceptible to big plays.

For most of the season, the No. 2 Buckeyes have relied on the passing game to overcome their many flaws.
