With some signs of progress being shown since the Razorbacks' last appearance in Fayetteville, the infamous loss to North Texas, Morris believes it's a matter of time before Arkansas can translate that progress into some wins. A flawless example was the 32-yard running play by Rakeem Boyd, Arkansas' biggest rushing play of the game. Storey hit C.J. O'Grady with an 8-yard pass in the corner of the end zone. Rakeem Boyd also caught a 21-yard pass on a wheel route and Deon Stewart had a 16-yard reception on the possession.

Storey finished the game 25-of-39 for 230 yards and two touchdowns while throwing an interception.

It was the most first-half points the Crimson Tide have allowed since No. 16 Mississippi State also scored 14 against them on November 11 last season.

The Crimson Tide also averaged 10.8 yards per offensive snap, crushing the previous high by an Arkansas opponent of 5.9 by Colorado State.

The Tide (6-0, 3-0) reeled off a 99-yard TD drive in just five plays after that fumble to take a 28-7 lead. The Hogs quickly moved inside the red zone but the drive was stopped as Storey fumbled on a quarterback draw just shy of the goal line. Arkansas didn't recover, however.

Alabama added a defensive touchdown in the fourth quarter when Shyheim Carter intercepted a Storey pass and returned it 44 yards for a touchdown. Damien Harris rushed for 111 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Jerry Jeudy caught four passes for 135 yards and two scores in the win.

Alabama, the No. 1 ranked team in the country, did what was expected Saturday against Arkansas. They need to be able to make adjustments in the game better.

University of Arkansas Coach Chad Morris said at his introductory news conference in December that the Razorbacks have made it a priority to recruit fast players on every level of the offense and defense.

Arkansas returns to action next week against Ole Miss for its annual game at War Memorial Stadium.
