Leicester return to action at the King Power Stadium on Saturday with football a mere afterthought as fans prepare to pay heartfelt tribute to the man who turned their dreams into astonishing reality.

The emotions of the week seemed to be taking its toll on the Leicester players in the closing stages but they nearly won the points when Shinji Okazaki's header dropped inches wide.

It will be an emotional occasion on Saturday as Burnley face Leicester City in the Foxes' first game at the King Power Stadium since the tragic death of chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.

On a poignant afternoon in Leicester, the stadium fell silent not only for two minutes before kick-off - this was also the club's annual Remembrance fixture - but also during a touching and beautifully put-together video of Vichai that was shown on the giant screens inside the ground.

The club staff had the huge task this week of moving the thousands of tributes and flowers which had been laid outside the stadium, putting them into the vehicle park to allow access.

Joe Hart then had to produce a fine save to thwart Demarai Gray's effort after Vardy linked well with the winger. Chris Wood should have done better when he volleyed a Robbie Brady cross over the bar from 12 yards.

Six years after slogging it in the third tier of English soccer, Leicester made it to the Premier League in 2014, reaching England's top flight of soccer.

But details about the new feature, as well as what to do if it malfunctions, were not included in the aircraft's manual. Both are major operators of the 737 variant, and both have numerous 737 MAX aircraft on order.

Harry Maguire, James Maddison, Andy King and Hamza Choudhury, none of whom featured against Burnley, had led a march of fans from the city centre to the stadium ahead of the match.

The next season, to most Premier League viewers' surprise, took off fairly well for the Foxes (as they are nicknamed), with players Riyadh Mahrez, N'golo Kante, and especially forward Jamie Vardy exploding onto the scene as top-class players.

Burnley had to do a lot of defending, especially in the first-half. He also managed to keep rampaging Leicester full-back Ben Chilwell very quiet.

"For a start, it all felt quite nervy, not really knowing what to do or how to act, but keen to show my respect", said Barnes.

Khan's son Tony will continue to oversee first-team player recruitment and contractual agreements in his role as vice-chairman and director of football operations, although Ranieri has been appointed manager while Jokanovic's title at the club was head coach. "The Leicester community have been awesome for their respects shown".

"There was a lot of emotion". With only nine of the 38 games left to play, and only four wins of the previous 29 games, Leicester sat at the bottom of the table, seemingly destined for relegation, ending their short spell in this elite tier.
