Bus driver rescues young child

According to authorities, the toddler was discovered to be less than a year old and it's believed the mother, who may have been suffering from mental health issues, may have left the boy outside. Hopefully, it'll be the last time it's needed. He was wearing just a onesie and a diaper.

Inexplicably, a baby boy is running along a narrow sidewalk on a highway overpass. Ivic stopped her bus, ran across the street, picked up the crying child and carried him to the bus. There's no one else in the street.

The video also shows Ivic, driving her bus as normal, then suddenly stopping it, as she spots the child wandering close to the road.

In the annotated video from the Milwaukee County Transit System uploaded to YouTube, viewers see Ivic-Drobnjak cradle the child as a young female passenger offers her coat and the two bundle the baby up.

"Oh my God, I was so upset", she told KTLA sister station WITI in Milwaukee.

NOTE: Police first said the baby fas a boy but later clarified that the child is actually a girl.
