Mateu Alemany, the general director at Los Che, has confirmed the striker's imminent departure after Marcelino had lost patience with the 25-year-old loanee.
Everton are reportedly planning a winter approach for Michy Batshuayi, who is scheduled to return from an unsuccessful loan move with Valencia.
Alemany's assessment heavily implies that Batshuayi will be moving to a different club on loan rather than returning to Chelsea.
He was quoted as saying by Spanish daily AS: "I think we have to bring in players".
However, they are among those interested in a permanent transfer as Batshuayi looks for his next home, having spent most of his stint at Chelsea away at other clubs, including Borussia Dortmund.

Speaking at the SCG on Friday, Indian captain Virat Kohli said he was yet to hear whether the players would be forced to sit out some matches.
'We are expecting an exit in the next few hours or days'.
"The player knows and we hope to reach a solution soon for the good of all parties. He is leaving and it's now a matter of negotiation", he stressed. "I've clearly run out of patience with certain individuals", a furious Marcelino said moments after the game. If you can't even get a shot in on target you are not fit to play in the Primera Liga for Valencia.
He continued: "I don't make changes to point at anyone, I make changes depending on the performance I see".
Batshuayi signed for Chelsea from Marseille for £33million back in 2016 but failed to nail down a consistent spot in the first team.
