Cardi B Defends Her Grammy Win in Expletive-Filled Video

And the very next day Cardi B was not only showing off her battle scars but also engaged in a war of words.

Cardi B is clapping back at haters who slammed her after she made history at the 2019 Grammys last night.

"My album went #1 and spend [sic] 21 weeks straight on billboard top ten!"

Videos uploaded to her Instagram account showed her screaming with excitement backstage after collecting the gong for her album Invasion of Privacy. "I work hard for my mother f-king album". Her single, "I Like It", with Bad Bunny and J Balvin, was nominated for record of the year, "Be Careful" for best rap performance, and her collaboration with Maroon 5, "Girls Like You", for best pop duo/group performance. "Didn't go to sleep in my bed sometimes for four days, pregnant. while everybody was harassing me like 'You can't do it'".

After being named the Grammy victor at the 61st annual ceremony, Cardi accepted the trophy alongside her Migos rapper husband, 27. Lauryn Hill was part of the Fugees when the group won in 1997 for The Score.

And now Thomas Markle has admitted that his daughter did try to contact him last August with a letter, shortly after her wedding. She also accused her father of not reaching out to her after the wedding, and not letting her know that he wasn't attending.

He started out by writing on Twitter, "I don't never wanna be propped up by tearing somebody else down".

Holding the trophy in her white-gloved hands, Cardi B thanked "you husband" and the couple's daughter, who was born seven months to the date.
