Clarke's displays have managed to catch the attention of a number of heavy-hitters in the Premier League with reports last month claiming that London clubs Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur were monitoring the 18-year-old.

The 18-year-old, who started the match but was substituted at half-time, was attended to by paramedics in the dugout during the final 10 minutes of normal time.

The Championship game was stopped for seven minutes due to the incident and it has been confirmed that Clarke was taken to hospital for further assessment. He was swiftly given oxygen and after a lengthy and concerning spell of treatment was taken on a stretcher to the dressing room.

Meanwhile, Middlesbrough boss Tony Pulis passed on his best wishes to Clarke when he addressed the media.

Bielsa said Clarke was continuing to be watched closely as Leeds attempt to establish the cause of his collapse.
