Four new Sniper Elite games are in development

Two Sniper Elite Games Coming To Nintendo Switch

Sniper Elite 5, Sniper Elite VR and Sniper Elite V2 Remastered announced

Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition is also coming to the Switch in 2019, offering intense sniping in soaring temperatures, all on the go. As part of the remaster, it will be bumped up with enhanced graphics, 4K and HDR support, a new photo mode, new playable characters, and up to 16 player multiplayer.

The first game to be released will be the remaster of 2012's Sniper Elite V2, which is set to launch sometime in 2019 on all platforms, including the Nintendo Switch.

Finally, the follow up to Sniper Elite 4 has been announced but don't expect a reveal until 2020. Sniper Elite has had a good run so far, with its proud parent Rebellion having managed to churn out four games in the franchise, each one upping the gory stakes and placing hawk-eyed Hitler hater Karl Fairburne in various theaters of war around the globe.

Looking ahead, Rebellion confirmed that work is already underway on the next mainline Sniper Elite game.

Zion Williamson Hits Game Deciding Shot Over Rival North Carolina
Florida State (27-6) has won 14 of its last 15 games with a roster that includes the core of last year's Elite Eight squad. They both looked the part, too - down to Duke's final punch that finally secured a ticket to the tournament final.

Ultimate Edition will release on the Nintendo Switch for the first time, bringing with it all the DLC released for other platforms and also including new exclusive to Switch wireless local multiplayer and motion controls. Rebellion has added a modernized renderer, as well as new post processing effects, better level geometry, more detailed textures and particles, and a new lighting system, so the brutal kill shots should look better than ever. Clients have included Lorne Lanning's Oddworld Inhabitants (Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath & Oddworld: New & Tasty), Bossa Studios (I Am Bread), Codemasters (Micro Machines World Series), Bithell Games (Volume & Volume: Coda), and Rising Star Games (Lumo). I'm going to put my money on it being called Sniper Elite 5.

British developer Rebellion has today announced a few new massive projects based around the Sniper Elite series.

Hopefully the remaining games will be showcased in full during this year's E3 press conference.
