Patriots sign wide receiver Demaryius Thomas

Longtime Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas has signed with the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots, the organization confirmed on its website.

With Thomas joining the Pats, New England's receiving group now features Edelman, Dorsett, Thomas, Maurice Harris, Bruce Ellington, and Braxton Berrios.

He caught 23 passes for 275 yards and two touchdowns in seven games after his trade to the Texans.

Thomas' deal with the Patriots could be worth up to $6 million, according to Ian Rapoport. In his final eight games with the Broncos, Thomas had 36 receptions for 402 yards and three TDs. Thomas was released by Houston on February 12, 2019.

Jet Airways suspends all flight operations
The airline was operating five aircraft on April 17, and may continue with the same till oil marketing companies stop fuel supply. Pilots, engineers and ground staff have not been paid for months while passengers have been left stranded around the world.

"I can still play, man", he said. He and two passengers were injured and taken to the hospital after his SUV went off the road and flipped end-over-end after hitting a median at more than 70 miles per hour - more than twice the speed limit.

Thomas has since been to five Pro Bowls and won a Super Bowl, though he's coming off a torn Achilles and pleaded guilty in March to a careless driving charge. He was fined $300, ordered to complete 50 hours of community service and received one year of supervised probation.

Along with giving Tom Brady another proven, veteran target, Demayius Thomas is very familiar with New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels and the offense he likes to run. His 665 catches rank third in team history behind Smith and Shannon Sharpe. The 31-year-old was one of the several pass catchers the Patriots reportedly brought in for a workout this month, and was also reportedly one of the players the team was interested in trading for ahead of the trade deadline last October.
