'Black Mirror' Season 5 Trailer Debuts, Celebrity Cast Revealed!

Black Mirror Season 5

[VIDEO] 'Black Mirror' Gets Season 5 Premiere Date, Trailer at Netflix

The Black Mirror Season 5 trailer, which debuted on Wednesday, gives viewers a taste of what's to come for the popular sci-fi anthology series.

At one point in the trailer, the words love, privacy, sex, work and afterlife flash across the screen, leaving many fans to speculate as to how afterlife will play into these three episodes. Cute as she may look with those pink wigs and kind words, she'll probably still be be pretty risky - or at least inspire some kind of unhealthy emotional dependency with her teenage owner, who coins herself a loner.

In the trailer, Cyrus nearly appears to be playing herself as it's revealed that her pop star-like character is performing in front of 20,000 fans. Considering how similar her pastel headpieces look to the ones on the doll device, perhaps there's a connection. As for Mackie's character, he is bored with family life and resorting to looking at women online.

But that's where the similarities end, as Black Mirror has never been more star-studded or bigger-budgeted.

Game of Thrones showrunners behind next Star Wars film
Weiss and David Benioff may be wrapping up their final season in Westeros , but now they've got a new adventure ahead of them. Those will be the first " Star Wars " films after "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker " in December 2019.

Topher Grace can also be spotted in the fray, and Andrew Scott appears as a gunman who's driven to the edge.

The trailer reveals that the new season will consist of just three episodes.

But despite the negative message that practically every single episode of Black Mirror has (except one), you can bet your ass we'll be binge-watching it the second it's released.
