According to McLaren, the GT can do 0-60 in just 3.1 seconds, plus hit 203 miles per hour. To focus on the crucial aspect of storage, the GT's MonoCell II-T monocoque features a carbon-fibre upper structure which paves the way for a 420-litre luggage area below the front-hinged tailgate. At 1,530kg, the GT is 130kg lighter than one of its staunch rivals and 100kg less than other cars in the segment.

The McLaren GT sports a sleek, lightweight body and luxurious, high-quality materials throughout.

The GT is actually longer than any current Sports or Super Series vehicle, at over 15 feet. Woking's limitations in this regard are long-established, and while it doesn't like to admit to them, the introduction of "industry-standard" HERE navigation mapping and real-time traffic information in the GT suggests it is finally taking the problem seriously.

Measuring in at 4683mm long, 2045mm wide and 1213mm tall with a 2675mm wheelbase and 110mm of ground clearance, GT offers what McLaren claims is class-leading cargo capacity of 570L, which is split between front (150L) and rear (420L) compartments.

They led by as many as 15 at half-time and then again by eight points with just over four minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. The news comes after teammate Klay Thompson told reporters Durant is "dying" to get back on the court.

More specifically, it could be placed in between the 570 GT and 720 S with its unique combination of grand touring and supercar specifications.

McLaren's latest all-new model might not be what you'd expect from the British supercar maker.

"The new McLaren GT combines competition levels of performance with continent-crossing capability, wrapped in a handsome body and true to McLaren's ethos of designing superlight cars with a clear weight advantage over rivals", McLaren CEO Mike Flewitt remarked. When combined with the front "frunk" - a boot where the engine would be in a traditional vehicle - the GT has an impressive 570 litres of luggage capacity. Suspension, steering and brakes are all bespoke and optimized to provide unforgettable driving experience of a Grand Tourer. The McLaren GT has reduced cabin noise courtesy of the special engine mounts and uses a suspension system based on the 720S that automatically detects the roads ahead and adjusts the damper settings in just two milliseconds. The 15- or 7-spoke alloy wheels are the largest ever fitted to a McLaren, measuring 21-inches at the rear and 20-inch in diameter at the front, and come wrapped in specially formulated Pirelli P Zero rubber.

Options include soft grain luxury leather or Alcantara seats instead of the standard Nappa leather trim. Entertainment comes by way of a sophisticated infotainment system which sends audio to a 12-speaker Bowers & Wilkins premium audio system with carbon fiber subwoofer and Kevlar midrange speakers. Deliveries are expected to begin from the end of 2019. The price starts at 198,000 euros in Germany. Yet, the ground clearance of 4.3 inches (5.1 in "lift" mode) ensures the auto is usable in all urban situations.
