Fallout 76's Next Update Adds Actual NPCs

Fallout 76 'Wastelanders' update launches this fall; 'Nuclear Winter' battle royal mode announced

Fallout 76's next big push is human NPCs, battle royale, and a new main quest

Fallout 76 is finally getting NPCs, dialogue choices, and a free trial starting today, but it's also getting a Battle Royale mode in an upcoming update.

Bethesda announced the details of the update and its changes to the game during its press conference at E3 2019.

And during the next week, gamers on PS4, Xbox One and PC will be able to try Fallout 76 for free.

Fallout 76 is about to feel a lot more like what you know as a Bethesda Fallout game.

In Nuclear Winter, you'll take part in a 52-player fight to the death. Rank up, unlock exclusive perks and build your C.A.M.P.to weather the storm in true Fallout fashion. This also includes the Pre-Beta Sneak Peek coming to Appalachia tomorrow, Nuclear Winter. Yeah. Bethesda has confirmed four-player squads, PvE combat against the beasts that usually roam Fallout 76, and player-initiated nukes.

Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order Looks Absolutely Awesome in First Extended Gameplay
With graphics that look somewhat last-gen, hopefully a lot of the flaws are a result of pre-alpha footage. The game will release on the PC via Electronic Arts' Origin portal, the PlayStation 4, and the Xbox One .

Check out the Nuclear Winter trailer below.

"You can start with a new character, or you can bring a chosen character from Adventure or Survival Mode".

This new pvp mode will drop players in an area where they will have to kill monsters and other players to become new overseer of Vault 51.

From what's been shown the world of Fallout 76 seems intact within the battle royale.
