FIFA 20 Brings Back Street Style Football With Volta Mode

FIFA 20 will bring the game 'back to the streets' with VOLTA Football

FIFA 20 releases September 27 and takes it to the streets with Volta Football story mode

This game mode will allow the players to take the ball outside of the stadiums and join the streets. The game's website also mentions VOLTA Leagues, a story mode and even the ability to bring pro teams along for the fun.

Authentic Game Flow gives AI-controlled players an increased understanding of time, space, and position on the pitch, placing more emphasis on user-controlled play through new Dynamic One-on-Ones, enhanced AI Defending, and Natural Player Motion. There's also a new ball physics system with new shot trajectories, more realistic tackling, and physics-driven behaviour for "a new level of realism".

This insight into the style of play and game mechanics will be important across plenty of game modes on Federation Internationale de Football Association 20 as the new strafe dribbling mechanic allows players more control, precision and agility.

With graphics that look somewhat last-gen, hopefully a lot of the flaws are a result of pre-alpha footage. The game will release on the PC via Electronic Arts' Origin portal, the PlayStation 4, and the Xbox One .

They longed for the return of FIFA Street, the title which was a massive hit a smash hit in the noughties.

So far, we know that players can customise their own characters from their appearance to a wide range of outfits as there is no uniform on the street. Overall, the aesthetic of being a street football player is captured in this game mode. From shirts to shoes, sweaters to shorts, equip your avatar with the latest vanity items and unlock more as you progress through in-game challenges. What the FIFA developers came up with from this research was Football Intelligence. Locations include Tokyo, London, Amsterdam and more now unannounced. Inspired by playgrounds, city-roots cage football, this new mode is sure to be a fan pleaser. It is nicknamed as Volta, which features both the males and females players. Play 3v3 Rush (No GK's), 4v4, 4v4 Rush, 5v5 and Professional Futsal. You can play with all the licensed players and clubs in the game.

Though now integrated into FIFA 20, Volta is not a slim-downed version of FIFA Street, nor is it trying to replicate what was done previously.
