Paul Pogba’s transfer talks open

According to The Mirror, the France World Cup victor is struggling for form at Old Trafford dwellers Manchester United, since his return in 2016.

Harry Maguire is a transfer target for Manchester United despite Leicester's reluctance to sell, according to reports.

Pogba returned to Old Trafford in a big-money £89m move and agreed a five year contract but things haven't gone as planned and he endured a tough time last season.

That will involve paying at least £135million for the Frenchman's services, almost £50m more than those at Old Trafford paid to bring him back to Old Trafford in 2016.

On the other hand, Juventus are also linked with Inter's forward Mauro Icardi, according to Tuttosport.

The same article states that Juventus are prepared to offer Manchester United Paulo Dybala, Alex Sandro and Douglas Costa in part exchange for Pogba.

Manchester United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, is also planning to rebuild his side with one of his aims to bring the ex-Tottenham Hotspur star back to the Premier League on a temporary deal.

Real Madrid asked Manchester United for their opening price for the player in order to start a conversation, but the reply could not have been starker.

Juve hope to raise around €110 million from these sales, which would allow them to bankroll the signing of Pogba, or potentially Ajax captain Matthijs de Ligt.
