After several speculations and leaks, Xiaomi has finally put an end to all the rumours around its latest Xiaomi Mi Band 4. Here are the top five features that will make you excited about the band's India launch. Like before, it also has an NFC variant.
The Mi Band 4 comes with Bluetooth and Xiao AI which can be controlled via the microphone on the band itself. The latest smart wrist band from Xiaomi will go on sale in China from June 16.
Similar to the Mi Band 3, it still retains a 5ATM water resistant rating (up to 50 metres) and it also comes with built-in heart rate monitoring.
Coming to the pricing, the standard and NFC variants of the Mi Band 4 are priced at CNY 169 (approx United States dollars 24.5 / INR Rs 1,700) and CNY 229 (approx USD 33 / INR 2,300) respectively. The Mi Band 4 now comes with support for QR-based payments backed by Alipay like Fitbit does with its Fitbit Pay. That's a solid upgrade from the Mi Band 3 which had a 0.78-inch display with lower resolution (80 x 120).

Xiaomi Mi Band 4 has an NFC as well as a non-NFC model. There is also a Mi Band 4 Avengers Limited Edition priced at CNY 349 (approx United States dollars 50.5 / INR 3,500) which comes with Captain America, Iron Man, and Avengers theme wrist bands. As mentioned earlier, the device is equipped with a six-axis accelerometer, which is said to monitor physical activities like running, cycling, exercise, swimming, and walking.
As a fitness band, you can expect a host of activity tracking features that utilises a 3-axis acceleration sensor and a 3-axis gyroscope. Furthermore, the fitness tracker is 5 ATM rated and it can reportedly identify a bunch of swimming strokes, including freestyle, mixed-style, breaststroke, backstroke and butterfly.
Overall, the display of the Mi Band 4 can feature 77 colourful watch faces, six sports modes, and all the information that was available on the previous Mi Band models. While a 135mAh battery powers the standard variant offering 20 days of battery life, the NFC variant is fueled by a 125mAh battery delivering 15 day of backup.
